بَابُ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ - قَالَ يَحْيَى : ذَكَرَ شَيْئًا لَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ - بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهِ ، وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فِيمَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُهُ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, this wealth is green and sweet. Whoever takes it (the narrator Yahya said: my teacher mentioned some further words, but I do not know what they were) will be blessed in it. And there are some who wrongfully covet the wealth of Allah Almighty and the wealth of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him); on the Day of Resurrection they will receive the Fire." The chain of this narration is hasan (good).
