وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ : خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ ، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا ، فَنَاظِرٌ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ ، فَاحْذَرُوا الدُّنْيَا ، وَاحْذَرُوا النِّسَاءَ ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِنْدَ اسْتِهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while delivering a sermon, praised and extolled Allah Almighty and then said: "Indeed, the world is sweet and green, and Allah Almighty will make you vicegerents in it, so that He may make manifest how you act. So guard yourselves against the world! Guard yourselves against women! Beware! On the Day of Resurrection, every betrayer will have a particular banner beside his buttocks."
