Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17794

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If the son of Adam had two valleys, he would desire a third valley. Wealth has been placed only so that the prayer may be established and zakah may be paid. Nothing but dust can satisfy the son of Adam, and Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of whoever repents."
Tabarani recorded it, and its chain contains Ja'far bin al-Zubayr, who is da'if (weak) and a kadhdhab (liar).
