بَابُ لَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ .
Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust

وَعَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَيْنِ مِنْ مَالٍ لَتَمَنَّى إِلَيْهِمَا الثَّالِثَ ، وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ حَامِدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْبَلْخِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would desire a third along with them. Nothing but dust can fill the belly of the son of Adam, and Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of whoever repents."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and the narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih except Hamid bin Yahya al-Balkhi, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
