Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17430

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When we supplicated, we used to say:
(O Allah! Send down upon us the blessing of righteous people (that is, the mercy that descends upon them), righteous people who are neither sinners nor wicked, who stand in voluntary prayer at night and fast during the day.)
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Uthman bin Sa'd, whom Abu Nu'aym and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while more than one scholar declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
