Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17382

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this as a marfu' narration (traced back to the Prophet): (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)) used to recite:
'Ya muqalliba al-qulubi thabbit qalbi 'ala dinika' (O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion).
We said: O Messenger of Allah! Do you fear for us, when we have believed in what you have brought? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the hearts (that is, the narrator then related the full narration). The narrator al-A'mash related this narration while pointing with two of his fingers.
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
