Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no supplication more beloved to Allah Almighty than that a servant supplicates with it, saying:
'Allahumma inni as'aluka al-mu'afata wa al-'afiyata fi al-dunya wa al-akhirah' (O Allah, indeed I ask You for pardon and for well-being in this world and the Hereafter)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for al-Ala' bin Ziyad, who is thiqah (trustworthy), but he did not hear from Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him).
