Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite: "O Allah, I ask You for health, chastity, trustworthiness, good character and contentment with destiny."
Al-Tabarani and al-Bazzar recorded it, but he transmitted this word in place of "health": "protection ('ismah)." Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Ziyad bin An'um, who is da'if al-hadith (weak in hadith), though he has been declared trustworthy; the remaining narrators of one of its two chains are the narrators of the Sahih.
