بَابُ الْأَدْعِيَةِ الْمَأْثُورَةِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الَّتِي دَعَا بِهَا ، وَعَلَّمَهَا .

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ ، وَشُكْرِكَ ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَوْدِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite: 'Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatika' (O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You and to worship You well).
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Amr bin Abdullah al-Awdi, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
