Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17038

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the two of them went to bed they should recite 'Subhan Allah', 'Alhamdu lillah' and 'Allahu Akbar'. The narrator Ata' did not know which of these phrases is to be recited 34 times to complete the number 100.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), because the narrator Shu'bah heard from Ata' bin al-Sa'ib before he became confused (ikhtilat).
