Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17027

Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person goes to his bed and recites any surah of the Book of Allah, Allah Almighty sends an angel to him who protects that person from everything that would harm him until he wakes up, whenever he may wake up."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
