Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting, and with him were Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal and Sayyiduna Nu'aym bin Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them). Meanwhile a messenger from a military expedition he had sent arrived. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have never seen a military expedition that returned more quickly than these men, or that obtained more spoils than they did." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Bakr, shall I not guide you to that in which a man returns more quickly than this and obtains more spoils than this? Whoever performs the morning prayer in congregation and then keeps remembering Allah until the sun rises."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator Humayd, the freed slave of Ibn Alqamah, and he is da'if (weak).
