Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever recites: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwal-hayyu alladhi la yamutu, biyadihil-khayru, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (There is no deity except Allah; He alone is the deity, He has no partner; to Him alone belongs the dominion and to Him alone belongs all praise; He is the Ever-Living who will never die; all good is in His hand, and He has power over all things),
(the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says:) "whoever recites it seeking the pleasure of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise because of it."
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Abdullah al-Babulti, who is da'if (weak).
