Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (There is no deity except Allah; He alone is the deity, He has no partner; to Him alone belongs the dominion, to Him alone belongs all praise, and He has power over all things), then reciting it will be for him like freeing one slave (the narrator is in doubt; perhaps the wording is:) two slaves.
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
