وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَيَبْعَثَنَّ اللَّهُ أَقْوَامًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي وُجُوهِهِمُ النُّورُ ، عَلَى مَنَابِرِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ ، يَغْبِطُهُمُ النَّاسُ ، لَيْسُوا بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ " .
قَالَ : فَجَثَا أَعْرَابِيٌّ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، حَلِّهِمْ لَنَا نَعْرِفْهُمْ .
قَالَ : هُمُ الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ ، مِنْ قَبَائِلَ شَتَّى ، وَبِلَادٍ شَتَّى ، يَجْتَمِعُونَ عَلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ يَذْكُرُونَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قَالَ : فَجَثَا أَعْرَابِيٌّ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، حَلِّهِمْ لَنَا نَعْرِفْهُمْ .
قَالَ : هُمُ الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ ، مِنْ قَبَائِلَ شَتَّى ، وَبِلَادٍ شَتَّى ، يَجْتَمِعُونَ عَلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ يَذْكُرُونَهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will raise some people on whose faces there will be light, and they will be on pulpits made of pearls, and people will envy them; they will be neither prophets nor martyrs." The narrator says: A Bedouin knelt down on his knees and said: "O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us so that we may recognise them." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They will be people who love one another for the sake of Allah Almighty, from different tribes and different lands, who gather for the remembrance of Allah and remember Him."
