Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us and said: "O people, Allah Almighty sends out companies of angels who glorify Allah Almighty and stop at the gatherings of remembrance on the earth, so take something to eat from the gardens of Paradise." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, where are the gardens of Paradise?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The gatherings of remembrance. Remember Allah morning and evening, and remember Him in your hearts as well. Whoever would like to know what his standing is with Allah Almighty should examine what the greatness of Allah Almighty is in his own sight, for Allah Almighty places the servant in the same position with Himself as the servant places Allah Almighty within himself."
Abu Ya'la, al-Bazzar and Tabarani in al-Awsat recorded it; its chain contains Umar bin Abdullah, the freed slave of Ufrah, whom more than one declared trustworthy while a group called him da'if (weak). Their narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
