Sayyiduna Suhayl bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever some people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, then when they rise it is said to them: 'Rise, for Allah Almighty has forgiven your sins, and your evil deeds have been changed into good deeds.'"
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains al-Mutawakkil bin Abd al-Rahman, the father of Muhammad bin Abi al-Sari, whom I do not know. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
