وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : لَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَحْمِلَ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: That I should remember Allah for a whole day until night is more beloved to me than that I should give fine horses for riding (in the path of Allah) for a whole day until night.
Tabarani recorded it by way of al-Qasim from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and he did not hear from his grandfather.
