وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عَشَرَةُ أَبْيَاتٍ بِالْحِجَازِ أَبْقَى مِنْ عِشْرِينَ بَيْتًا بِالشَّامِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ten households in the Hijaz will endure longer than twenty households in Syria (al-Sham)."
