وَعَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " نِعْمَ الْمُرْضِعُونَ أَهْلُ عُمَانَ " . يَعْنِي الْأَزْدَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَنْبَسَةُ مَوْلَى طَلْحَةَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Talhah bin Dawud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Oman are good wet-nurses." The narrator says: Meaning the people of the tribe of Azd.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator Anbasah, the freed slave (mawla) of Sayyiduna Talhah bin Dawud (may Allah be pleased with him), whom I do not know. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
