Majma al-Zawaid 16583 — Reports on the tribe of al-Azd
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " نِعْمَ الْقَوْمُ الْأَزْدُ ، طَيِّبَةٌ أَفْوَاهُهُمْ ، بَرَّةٌ أَيْمَانُهُمْ ، نَقِيَّةٌ قُلُوبُهُمْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of the tribe of Azd are good people; their mouths are pure, their oaths are true and their hearts are clean and pure."
Ahmad recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
