وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَنَا حَجِيجُ مَنْ ظَلَمَ عَبْدَ الْقَيْسِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will be the opposing party against the one who wrongs Abd al-Qays (i.e. the members of this tribe)."
