Ikrimah bin Khalid states: Once a man spoke ill of Banu Tamim in his presence, so Ikrimah picked up some pebbles in his hand in order to throw them at that man. Then Ikrimah related that a man from among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated this hadith to him: "Once Tamim were mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and a man said: 'This clan of Banu Tamim is being slow in this matter.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards Muzaynah and said: 'A people among whom these are included will not be slow.' The narrator says: One day a man said: 'The people of Banu Tamim are being slow in bringing their charity (sadaqah).' Meanwhile the red and black camels of Banu Tamim arrived, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'These are the animals of my people.' One day a man criticised Banu Tamim in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Speak only good of Banu Tamim, for their spears will be the longest against the Dajjal.'"
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
