Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Once we were travelling with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we passed by a herd of around 100 camels. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Whose are these?" The people said: "They belong to Banu al-Anbar." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those people are our people."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher al-Miqdam bin Dawud, who is da'if (weak); Ibn Daqiq al-'Id says: "He has been declared trustworthy." The narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
