وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : رُبَّمَا ضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى كَتِفِي وَقَالَ : " أَحِبُّوا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ . ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ ، وَلَمْ يَجْرَحْهُ أَحَدٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would strike my shoulder with his hand and say: "Love Banu Tamim!"
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and he says:
This report is transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only through this chain. Its chain contains Ubaydah bin Abd al-Rahman, whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned, and no one has criticised him; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and he says:
