وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَذَكَرَ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ فَقَالَ : " هُمْ ضِخَامُ الْهَامِ ، ثَبَتُ الْأَقْدَامِ ، نُصَّارُ الْحَقِّ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ ، أَشَدُّ قَوْمًا عَلَى الدَّجَّالِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ مِنْ طَرِيقِ سَلَامٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ ، وَقَالَ : سَلَامٌ هَذَا أَحْسَبُهُ سَلَامً الْمَدَائِنِيَّ ، وَهُوَ لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: While mentioning Banu Tamim, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They have large heads, they are firm of foot, in the last age they will be helpers of the truth, and they will be the fiercest people against the Dajjal."
Al-Bazzar recorded it via Sallam from Mansur bin Zadhan, and he said: "Regarding this narrator named Sallam, I think he is Sallam al-Mada'ini, and he is weak in hadith (layyin al-hadith)."
