Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The various tribes were mentioned before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He was asked about Banu Amir and he said: "They are a camel of bright colour that eats from the edges of the trees." The people asked him about Hawazin and he said: "They are radiant people from whom water springs forth." The people asked him about Banu Tamim and he said: "They are firm of foot, sensible, and large of head; in the last age they will be the severest of people against the Dajjal. They are a red (plateau-like) hill which whoever opposes it cannot harm."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains the narrator Sallam bin Subayh, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
