وَعَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ لِلْقُرَشِيِّ مِثْلَيْ قُوَّةِ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ غَيْرِ قُرَيْشٍ " .
قِيلَ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ : مَا عَنِيَ بِذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ : نُبْلُ الرَّأْيِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ وَأَبِي يَعْلَى رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قِيلَ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ : مَا عَنِيَ بِذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ : نُبْلُ الرَّأْيِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ وَأَبِي يَعْلَى رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man of Quraysh has been given the strength of two men from those other than Quraysh." Al-Zuhri was asked: "What is meant by this?" He explained: "Soundness of judgement."
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the narrators of Ahmad and Abu Ya'la are the narrators of the Sahih.
