وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَثَلُ أَصْحَابِي كَمَثَلِ الْمِلْحِ فِي الطَّعَامِ ، لَا يَصْلُحُ الطَّعَامُ إِلَّا بِالْمِلْحِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The example of my Companions is like salt in food; food becomes good only with salt."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded something similar. Its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Muslim, and he is da'if (weak).
