وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رَأَيْتُ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ عُنُقًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " . فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَ عِكْرِمَةُ قَالَ : " هُوَ هَذَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw a neck of Abu Jahl in Paradise." The narrator says: When Sayyiduna Ikrimah (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is what was meant."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ya'qub bin Muhammad al-Zuhri, who has been declared trustworthy, while the majority declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
