Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16034

Sufyan states: No one like Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) ever came to Basrah.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih; however, Imam Ahmad did not hear from Sufyan al-Thawri, but if Sufyan here is Sufyan bin Uyaynah, then Imam Ahmad did hear from him.
