وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ : مَا قَدِمَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نُفَضِّلُهُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Muhammad bin Sirin states: No one from the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came (to Basrah) whom we would rank above Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him).
