Nafi' said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) fell ill, and a bunch of grapes was bought for him for one dirham. A poor man came, and Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Give it to him. Then someone went after him, bought it from him for one dirham and brought it to him. Then the poor man came again and asked, and Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Give it to him. Then someone else went after him and bought it from him for one dirham. The poor man wanted to ask again, but he was prevented. Had Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) known about that bunch of grapes, he would not even have tasted it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Nu'aym bin Hammad, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
