وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَيْضًا قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِبِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَنْقُلُ لَبِنَةً لَبِنَةً ، وَكَانَ عَمَّارٌ يَنْقُلُ لِبِنَتَيْنِ لِبِنَتَيْنِ قَالَ : فَحَدَّثَنِي أَصْحَابِي وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَا ابْنَ سُمَيَّةَ ، تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to build the mosque, so we began carrying bricks one at a time, while Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) was carrying them two at a time. The narrator said: Then my companions told me this; I did not hear it myself from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The companions told me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O son of Sumayyah, a rebellious group will kill you."
