بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَمَنْ جُمِعَ مَعَهُ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ
Reports on al-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), paternal uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and those of his children mentioned with him

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِعَمِّهِ الْعَبَّاسِ : " أَنَا خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّينَ " . ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْعَبَّاسِ ، وَأَبْنَاءِ الْعَبَّاسِ ، وَأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْعَبَّاسِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الْمُرَادِيِّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his uncle, Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): "I am the one who brings the line of the Prophets to its end." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised both his hands and said: "O Allah! Forgive Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), the sons of Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), and the sons of the sons of Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Al-Tabarani narrated it from his teacher Abd al-Rahman bin Hatim al-Muradi, who is matruk (abandoned).
