بَابُ مَنَاقِبِ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهَا
Virtues of Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

وَعَنْ صَفِيَّةَ قَالَتْ : انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَمَا مِنَ النَّاسِ أَحَدٌ أَكْرَهُ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ قَوْمَكِ صَنَعُوا كَذَا وَكَذَا " . قَالَتْ : فَمَا قُمْتُ مِنْ مَقْعَدِي وَمِنَ النَّاسِ أَحَدٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ .
Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), there was no one among the people more hateful to me than the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The men of your people did this and that. Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Before I rose from that place, there was no one among the people more beloved to me than the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
