وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ : سَبَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيِّ بْنِ أَخْطَبَ مِنْ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ، وَهِيَ عَرُوسٌ بِكِنَانَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُقَيْقِ .رَوَى الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مُرْسَلًا وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Al-Zuhri narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Huyayy bin Akhtab (may Allah be pleased with her), who is from Banu al-Nadir, as a captive on the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, and she was the wife of Kinanah bin Abi al-Huqayq.
