Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us while we were sitting, and he said: The first of you to come to me at the Pond (al-Hawd) will be the one whose hands are the longest. So we began measuring our forearms to see whose hands were longer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I did not mean this; I meant the one who does the most work with her hand.
At-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Maslamah bin Ali, who is da'if (weak).
