وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ،مَنْ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْكَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَلِمَ ؟" قُلْتُ : لِأُحِبَّ مَا تُحِبَّ ، قَالَ : " عَائِشَةُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates concerning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): I submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! Who is the most beloved of people to you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why is that?" I submitted: "So that I too may love the one whom you love." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aishah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
