وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : أَيُّ النِّسَاءِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَتْ : عَائِشَةُ، قُلْتُ : فَمِنَ الرِّجَالِ؟ قَالَتْ : أَبُوهَا .رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Abdullah bin Shaqiq narrates: I asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Of all the women, who was the most beloved to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: "Aishah." I asked: "And who among the men?" She replied: "Her father."
