بَابٌ مِنْهُ فِي فَضْلِهَا وَتَزْوِيجِهَا بِعَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا -

Majma al-Zawaid 15212 — The virtue of Fatimah and her marriage to Ali
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : قَالَ : خَطَبَ عَلِيٌّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - فَاطِمَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا - إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
In one narration the words are: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) proposed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). After that the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
