بَابٌ مِنْهُ فِي فَضْلِهَا وَتَزْوِيجِهَا بِعَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا -
The virtue of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and her marriage to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15208 — The virtue of Fatimah and her marriage to Ali
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُزَوِّجَ فَاطِمَةَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty has commanded me to marry Fatimah to Ali."
