وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مَثَلُ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ ; مَنْ رَكِبَهَا سَلِمَ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا غَرِقَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ لَيِّنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The example of my Ahl al-Bayt is like the ark of Sayyiduna Nuh (peace be upon him): whoever boarded it remained safe, and whoever abandoned it drowned."
