عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مَثَلُ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ ; مَنْ رَكِبَ فِيهَا نَجَا ، وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا غَرِقَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ahl al-Bayt is like the ark of Sayyiduna Nuh (peace be upon him): whoever boarded it was saved, and whoever stayed behind from it drowned."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hasan bin Abi Ja'far, who is matruk (abandoned).
