Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1494

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to sleep while in a state of janabah, he would perform ablution.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Ahmad bin Yahya bin Malik al-Tunusi; Ibn Abi Hatim gave his biography in his book and said: "He is saduq (truthful)." Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy), and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
