وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَا يَعْطِفَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ ، الصَّادِقُونَ " .
قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ : فَبِعْتُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ شَيْئًا - قَدْ سَمَّاهُ - بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا ، فَقَسَّمَهُ بَيْنَهُنَّ - يَعْنِي : بَيْنَ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَحِمَهُنَّ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ : فَبِعْتُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ شَيْئًا - قَدْ سَمَّاهُ - بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا ، فَقَسَّمَهُ بَيْنَهُنَّ - يَعْنِي : بَيْنَ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَحِمَهُنَّ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Only the patient and the truthful will treat you (that is, the pure wives of the Prophet) kindly." Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I sold something to Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abi Sarh (the narrator says: he also named that thing) for forty thousand, and then he distributed that money among those women, that is, the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
