عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خِيَارُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِنِسَائِي مِنْ بَعْدِي .
قَالَ : فَأَوْصَى لَهُنَّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بِكَذَا ، فَبِيعَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قَالَ : فَأَوْصَى لَهُنَّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بِكَذَا ، فَبِيعَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of you will be those who are best to my wives after me." The narrator says: Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) bequeathed such-and-such (a place or thing) to the pure wives of the Prophet, and when it was sold, it fetched forty thousand.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and its chain is hasan (good).
