Ibn Ishaq narrates: Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) had lost his two front teeth; his teeth had been knocked out from the root. He was left-handed and lame. He was injured on the day of Uhud: his teeth were knocked out and he received twenty or more wounds, some of which struck his leg, and because of that he walked with a limp.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
