وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ : فِيمَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ بْنِ كِلَابِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ : عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ عَوْفٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ حَسَنُ الْإِسْنَادِ .

Urwah bin al-Zubayr, among those from Banu Zuhrah bin Kilab bin Murrah who took part in the Battle of Badr with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), mentioned Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf bin Abd Awf (may Allah be pleased with him).
