وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُكَيْمٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ فِي عَلِيٍّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَشْيَاءَ لَيْلَةَ أُسَرِيَ بِي : أَنَّهُ سَيِّدُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، وَإِمَامُ الْمُتَّقِينَ ، وَقَائِدُ الْغِرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ النَّخَعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَتَأْتِي أَحَادِيثُ جَامِعَةٌ فِي بَابِ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ وَغَيْرَ ذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ النَّخَعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَتَأْتِي أَحَادِيثُ جَامِعَةٌ فِي بَابِ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ وَغَيْرَ ذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ukaym (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty revealed to me three things about Ali on the night I was taken on the Mi'raj (these three things are): he is the leader of the believers, he is the imam of the pious, and he is the leader of those with shining, radiant foreheads."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Isa bin Sawadah al-Nakha'i, who is a kadhdhab (liar). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Some hadiths on this will come in the chapter about the one who loves Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and elsewhere.
